Creator Economy (WIP)
1. Overview of Creator Income
On the MyShell platform, creators can earn revenue through three main sources:
AIpp Shares
Transaction Fees from AIpp Store
Shell Points Generated from User Interaction
1.1 AIpp Shares
When creators list their Bots in the AIpp Store (MyShell's dedicated application market), sponsors will evaluate the potential of the Bot on the platform and invest accordingly.
Mechanism:
Each AIPP has a Priority Purchase for creators, allowing creators to prioritize sponsoring their AIPP at the lowest cost.
Sponsors can use BNB to back AIpps they believe have potential.
Creators can buy and sell AIpp Shares at any time on the AIpp Store. The market value of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand.
Selling shares that have appreciated in value generates immediate income for creators, which is Monetization Method 1.
Steps:
Click "Launch+" in the upper right corner.
Select the Bot to launch.
Input the ticker name (non-editable, please choose carefully), and follow the wallet authorization process after confirmation.
After issuing AIpp, creators can prioritize buying their AIpp.
1.2 AIpp Store Transaction Fees
In the AIpp Store, each transaction of shares (including buying and selling) incurs a 1% transaction fee. The MyShell platform will distribute the transaction fees proportionally to creators, with the earnings directly deposited into the developers' MyShell wallets.
Features of Fee Revenue:
The fees are generated without any extra action from the creators; every transaction automatically generates revenue, which is distributed directly to the creators' wallets.
This represents a stable source of income that can be withdrawn at any time.
Earnings in the wallet are distributed in Binance Coin (BNB). Currently, 1 BNB is approximately equal to $580.
How to View Earnings:
Creators can view their earnings by going to the AIpp Store and clicking on "Wallet" in the upper right corner. This is Monetization Method 2, a stable and passive income model.
1.3 Shell Points Generated from User Interaction
MyShell has a points system that includes four types of points:
General Points: Earned through regular activities on the platform, such as daily check-ins, OPbnb interactions, and Bot interactions.
Influencer Points: Earned by promoting MyShell through Twitter tasks.
Sponsor Points: Earned by sponsoring AIpp and actively engaging with and supporting your favorite AI applications in the AIpp Store.
Creator Points: Creators who hold the Creator Pass NFT earn points when users interact with their published Bots.
Users can exchange points for MyShell Coins.
MyShell Coins are the internal currency of the MyShell platform and are an important indicator of user contributions to the platform.
The four types of points have different reward pool proportions.
The exchange rate for different points varies based on the quantity and quality of interactions.
At the end of each season (one month per season), after settlement, points can be exchanged for Coins.
Points must be redeemed after settlement; any points not redeemed by the deadline will expire.
Shell Points Conversion Process:
At the end of each month, creators can enter the “Point Carnival” in the AIpp Store and click "claim all" in the upper right corner to collect their Shell Points for that month.
Shell Points can be exchanged for Shell Coins, the offchain scoring currency of the MyShell platform, in the “Reward Redemption” module.
Shell Coins will be exchangeable for other cryptocurrencies or fiat currencies in the future.
This is Monetization Method 3 for developers, allowing them to continuously earn revenue through user interactions with their Bots.
2. Revenue Withdrawal and Distribution
The MyShell platform offers creators various convenient withdrawal methods, enabling them to view and manage their earnings through built-in tools. Below is a brief overview of the withdrawal process and distribution:
Income types: AIpp Share earnings, transaction fees, Shell Points conversion earnings.
Withdrawal Currency: Earnings are available in Binance Coin (BNB) or Shell Coin, with the former being directly convertible through centralized exchanges and the latter being supported for direct conversion to fiat currency in the future.
