Tokenomics

Disclaimer 1:

  • $SHELL is the native ERC-20 token of MyShell. It did not exist or circulate prior to the Token Generation Event (TGE).

  • Shell Coin is an off-chain settlement currency implemented by MyShell team to incentivize early adopters within the Reward Center.

  • Shell Token is a special ERC-20 token with an edited and restricted smart contract, akin to Her Token, LLM Token, and SD Token within MyShell Testnet environment. These tokens are designed specifically for MyShell Testnet events and can only be transferred to token addresses assigned by MyShell team.

Upon the official TGE, $SHELL will be airdropped based on the distribution of on-chain and off-chain incentive-scoring currency, (eg. Shell Coin, NFT holdings) and many other specific rules to be announced in the future.

Disclaimer 2: MyShell is currently in the Testnet phase of development. As such, the details outlined in this whitepaper are non-final and subject to potential future revisions as the project progresses through additional testing and feedback. This document is intended for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee or promise.

Introduction to $SHELL

$SHELL is the native token powering the MyShell ecosystem, granting access to premium features, enabling creator support, and facilitating payments.

The total supply of $SHELL is capped at 1,000,000,000 tokens, which will be gradually released over time to cultivate a deflationary economy and maintain token scarcity.
